Clarinetist Drew Moses!

Andrew Moses is thirteen years old and began playing the clarinet at age eight through the instruction of his father.  He began study with renowned clarinet performer and pedagogue Dr. Margaret Thornhill at age nine.  Andrew is a finalist in the 2012 International Clarinet Association High School Competition, a winner of the 2012 Beverly Hills Music in the Mansion Auditions and the Manhattan Beach Previews Auditions, a winner in the 2012 Torrance Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition for Young Artists, and as winner of the Glendale Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition he has three times been featured concerto soloist with the orchestra.  His current season includes concerto appearances with the Torrance Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Clarinet Choir, Pasadena Summer Youth Chamber Orchestra, and Glendale Youth Orchestra... as well as solo recital performances in Palos Verdes, Westchester, Encinitas, Rolling Hills, Beverly Hills, Riverside, and Manhattan Beach.  In his spare time, Andrew enjoys taekwondo (he’s working on his 2^nddegree black belt), cycling, gardening, youth group, conducting, and composing.
